Our research group has been invited by UK Universities COP26 Network to display our research on the ethics of climate adaptation at the UN Climate Change conference COP26. Our proposal, which focusses on our work in informal settlements in Sub-Saharan Africa, was one of 4 selected out of a total of 120 applications. The display will feature a video including researcher interviews and footage from our partner Slum Dwellers International’s youth affiliates in South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone, exploring youth views on climate change from urban slums, along with and other materials. COP26 will take place in Glasgow between 1-12 November 2021.
